Mandatory Camp Forms:

All Campers must provide a hard copy of the following forms at check in order to participate. There are no exceptions to this rule, without the proper forms no camper will be allowed to participate. Please have these forms completely filled out before arriving to check in.

Airport Transportation Form:

For UNC Team Camp & UNC Freshman, Sophomore, Junior Select Camp ONLY, we can provide your camper Airport Transportation for a fee. You must fill out our request form in order to secure Airport Transportation for your camper. Be sure to note the Post Mark Deadlines for the Request form on the second page! Refund Policy:

Every Tar Heel Lacrosse camp has a non-refundable fee associate with it, please check the camp page for respective fee amount.

Due to the nature of pre-planning Tar Heel Lacrosse camps has a NO REFUND policy once we are within a 30 day window from the start of camp for any reason including but not limited to human error, injury, or weather.

  

Weather Policy:

In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, Tar Heel Lacrosse reserves the right to; Reduce game time, finish session before inclement weather arrives, reschedule games, or cancel the event.

We will make every attempt to play every minute of scheduled activity but the safety of players and all camp attendees comes first. No Refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the camp.

In the event a camp is cancelled prior to the start of the event due to weather, a partial or full credit may be issued at the discretion of Tar Heel Lacrosse Camps. The amount of the issued credit will be determined on a camp by camp basis.

  

What if my Child is injured prior to the start of camp?

If your child is injured prior to the start of camp you can request a partial credit (The total amount of camp less the non-refundable fee & registration fee). You must in writing request the credit and provide documentation of the injury from a doctor prior to camp. The request and medical documentation must be sent to tarheellaxcamp@gmail.com – Within 7 days of the start of camp we will not issue any credits for injuries.

  

What if I can not obtain a Doctor’s signature for my Medical Form before camp?

If you can not obtain a Doctors signature on the Medical Form prior to camp, please fill it out the form completely and attach a copy of your child’s up to date physical to the back of it.

  

What if my camper is on the Waitlist?

We will contact you immediately if a spot opens up for his position in camp. This is done on a first come first serve basis, by date and time of registration for the Waitlist. Please do not book any travel until we have contacted you and confirmed that your camper is off of our waitlist.

  

Do you offer Financial Aid?

We can not offer financial aid due to NCAA regulations.

  

Where can I obtain a camp schedule?

A tentative camp schedule can be found on each individual camp page. A week prior to camp you will receive an email with camp schedule, detailed locations of check in, as well a reminders for camp. Detailed schedules will be handed out at camp check in.

  

Where will my resident camper stay?

Depending on the event resident campers stay in one of the UNC Resident Halls. The specific Resident Hall for each camp with be announced leading up to the camp, please check individual camp pages for specifics. All Resident Halls are air conditioned.

A $100 room key deposit (Check only!) is required for the camps staying in UNC Resident Halls. If the room key is returned upon check out, the $100 deposit is returned, if the room key is not returned the deposit will be kept. Please make out all deposit checks to Breschi Lacrosse Camps LLC.

The exception to this is our Freshman, Junior, Sophomore Select Camp held each January, for this camp resident campers stay at local hotel which will be announced leading up to camp. 

 

My son is a commuter camper, does he still get meals?

Yes, commuter campers still have access to meals during camp.

  

Where do the campers eat?

For most camps, campers will eat at the UNC Dinning Hall. For certain events we cater food to the UNC Blue Zone or to the field.

  

My son has a food allergy, can you accommodate him?

Yes, please email us about your son’s allergy no later than 14 days before the start of camp so we can make proper accommodations.

  

Can I request a roommate for my son?

No, we do not accept any roommate requests. We will room your son with another camper his age.

  

What should my camper bring to camp?

Campers should bring the following to camp:
All Lacrosse Gear (Stick, Helmet, Gloves, Arm Pads, Shoulder Pads, Mouth Guard)
Cleats
Shoes
Water Bottle for in between field sessions (cups provided on field)
Snack for in between field sessions (optional)

For Resident Summer Campers (staying in UNC Resident Halls):
Sheets (Twin Extra Long)
Pillow
Toiletries

  

What Airport should I fly to for camp?

Raleigh-Durham Internation Airport is the best airport to fly in to for camp?

  

How can I get from the Airport to camp?

For Team Camp & the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior Select Camp we can provide your camper Airport Transportation for a fee. You must fill out our request form in order to secure Airport Transportation for your camper, please see here for more information (TarHeelAirportRequestForm2018). For all other camps, campers must get to an from the airport on their own.

RDU Taxi is the official RDU Airport Taxi Service – You can contact them directly at 919-840-7277. UBER & LYFT are also available at RDU Airport.

  

Is water provided to campers?

Yes, every field will have water and/or gatorade provided for campers.

  

Who will be coaching my son at camp?

Every Tar Heel Lacrosse camp will have the UNC Coaching Staff in attendance. Many camps will also have other college coaches, high school coaches, and college players in attendance to instruct your camper as well. All staff members undergo a University mandated background check as well complete a University issued Protection of Minors Course.

  

Who will treat my son if he is hurt or sick at camp?

We have a staff of Certified Athletic Trainers at every camp to treat your son should be become sick or injured.

  

My team is not attending UNC Team Camp, can I still attend as an individual?

Yes, you can sign up for UNC Team Camp as a “Free Agent” – Free Agents Teams are coached by members of the UNC Coaching Staff.
